History[]

-Comic Origin-

In prehistoric times, two Cro-Magnon men  fought over a woman and unleashed unprecedented powers and strength on each other, possibly becoming the first two superpowered beings on Earth. Their fight destroyed everything around them and ended in a stalemate. The two exhausted men simply parted ways. One of them was Wolfe, and the other was Christian Walker. Wolfe was clearly the aggressor of their conflict, which was something he would continue to be as the many years carried on.

In time, Wolfe would transform and evolve into the form of a human being, but he would not age. He walked the Earth as an immortal and came to proudly think of himself as a god or demon.

-Forever comic-

Throughout human history, Wolfe hunted down and fought Christian Walker in pursuit of an age-old vendetta against him. Wolfe seemed able to remember his life far more clearly than Walker could, allowing him to surprise Walker who sometimes did not even remember who Wolfe was. In ancient human civilization, Wolfe killed one of the earliest incarnations of Retro Girl and fought Walker, who was known as the mighty Gora at the time. Millennia later, he burned down the Chinese temple Walker had studied at for decades. In the 1930s, he brutally murdered Walker's wife in Chicago. There were likely many other times he clashed with Walker, who could not remember it. Wolfe remembered and always sought Walker out again.

Wolfe later confronted Walker during his nemesis' time as the superhero Diamond., but this time, Walker remembered Wolfe. Their fight was brutal and seemed ready to end in the usual stalemate. Walker refused to let that happen, though. He dragged Wolfe to the lab of Triphammer, who had recently finished a prototype power drainer. Turning the device on, both Wolfe and Walker were suddenly without their powers. Wolfe was brutally beaten by the physically superior Walker and thrown into the power drainer, causing an explosion that made their power loss permanent.

-T.V. Origin-

The Television adaptation picks up as Wolfe was a small boy. He lived in the woods in a log cabin along with his sister and family. His story began when his power manifested for the first time and he consumed his family. The year is unknown but its assumed to be before electricity or the steam engine. No prior relationship is suggested and the first time Wolfe and Walker met was at the club. Walker was never implied to be immortal and was shown clearly as a younger college kid, whereas the comic has these two men as immortalized in middle aged form. "You were a cocky little kid" Implies a first impression of a complete stranger.

Personality[]

Philosophical and cultured, Wolfe countered his true nature with sophistication and education. Often pompous in his body language and gracious with his words, he gifts every occasion with the wisdom of Socrates and the fluff of a French court minister. Highly evolved in his own mind, Wolfes ego far surpasses his psychiatric training of restraint. Combined with a limitless thirst for power, his ego cracks under the natural instincts of the wild animal inside him. Once he fully accepts his nature, he combines this massive intellect with a savage beast to find something akin to freedom through insanity. To be a true slave to your true nature is a freedom he wished to share with everyone before going insane with the thirst for power.

Powers and Abilities[]

Wolfe's powers represent the fully realized evolutionary power of the mitochondria and the nucleus of a cell. Simply put, Wolfe is mother natures first completely perfect survival apex predator. Created by mother nature to be able to survive and adapt and grow on virtually any life force for fuel. Everything he eats, boosts every stat he has: Strength, Perception, Intelligence, Agility, Endurance, Fortitude, Guile, Wit, Intuition, and even spiritual awareness. The body itself seemingly is pushed to a higher evolutionary state, with each meal. Wolfes hunger not only stems from his metabolic rate, but possibly from the spirit of evolution, driving the species further, faster than ever before. Wolfe has the ability to consume the entire life force of another living thing. His body metabolizes cellular energy on an uncharted scale. Like a polar bear, his body never stops telling him to eat. Each person he consumes grows his strength exponentially. Having his metabolic rates and ability for cellular division shot through the roof, Wolfe can heal wounds in seconds. Should Wolfe consume a power , his healing rates become nearly instant. Wolfe has a natural healing factor even when empty of others powers. His consumed powers from others are not permanent as he burns through them as he would calories from a meal. This leaves Wolfe always feeling unsatisfied. Never full, never powerful enough, he continues to consume others and multiply his powers. As he does, his brain also creates new and evolved connections ,unlocking more and more potential. Wolfes power grows to a point of ascension, where he transcends humanity and becomes a God in his own mind. Without consumption and running on empty , Wolfe still possesses a superior physiological and biological state. His healing rate is estimated to be one thousand times the normal metabolic rate when powerless and his biology and muscle mass to be optimized like that of a wild cat. His immune system , fueled by incredible regenerative lymph nodes , can evolve beyond any viral infection and bacterial infection , nearly instantaneously. This makes Wolfes blood a possible cure all for any disease. Wolfe possesses enhanced senses of smell, taste, touch , sight and sound. All of which get multiplied when he consumes life. The method of consumption is brutal and savage, using bear hands and nails and teeth to shred the flesh and bone of his victims using all the strength , speed, and gluttonous frenzy he can muster. Even powerless, he can put a human body through his personal meat grinder in less than two minutes and once he has fed, can double that rate and if he should consume a power, can multiply his power and speed of consumption until he is limited only by the natural motion of his bodys limbs. Wolfes consumption powers are not limited to ingestion and he can use his senses to lock on to a powers signature deep inside them. Whatever genetic or spiritual force is behind the power, Wolfe can lock on to it, and draw it out without eating the person whole. Those powers then fuel him as they normally would. Wolfe prefers to consume the entire bio mass as the cellular portion of the meal fuels his metabolic rate while he gets to hold on to more of the power. The healing powers have an effect on his brain as he shows psychic awareness and the possible potential for telepathic growth and telekinetic powers, should he continue to grow.
