Jon Jackson Stevens mentions the fate of Brandon McQueen when explaining his rationale for murdering Retro Girl to detectives Christian Walker and Deena Pilgrim. Stevens claims that McQueen became a joke to people because of his old age despite all of the good he did for the city. This is why he decided Retro Girl should die young.[1]
