Christian Walker is a main character on PlayStation's Powers. He debuts in the first episode of Season 1.

History[]

Christian Walker is a former Power who used to be able to fly, but is currently working as a detective in the LAPD Powers Division, after losing his powers. Before he lost them, he was known as Diamond. His current partner is Deena Pilgrim.

Season One[]

In Pilot, Walker is first seen with his partner, Brian Stockley, bringing a Power named Iron Impact into the LAPD Powers Division. Stockley takes charge of Iron Impact while Walker goes to assist with another Power. However, Stockley gets distracted and Iron Impact overcomes the sedative and kills Stockley. Iron Impact breaks free from his restraints and goes up against other officers before Walker kills him. At home, he witnesses an airborne battle between two Powers and grabs some gear before he realizes he can't fly anymore. Then, another Power flies up and stops the two. The next day, while cleaning out Stockley's desk, Walker meets his new partner, Detective Deena Pilgrim. They drive to Stockley's house and give his possessions to his widow Candace and son Krispin. The new partners stop to eat before being pulled to crime scene at a hotel. Walker recognizes the body of Olympia, a Power and former teammate. They find Calista, the girl he was with the night before, sitting blank-faced in the bathroom.

This history is incomplete.

Personality[]

Walker first appears as a very self-centered and short-tempered individual, but he cares about what is right. He stops at nothing to solve a case and constantly puts his own life at risk. As we watches the people around him die he goes back and forth between a state of depression and self-loathing and vengeful. This is pointed out after Retro Girl's is murdered and he stops at nothing to catch her killer. Walker is even kicked out of the LAPD Powers Division for insubordination.
